Sew what?

Georgia has been able to take some time to sew a second quilt top. (See the August 19th entry.) The newest quilt top started with the brown fabric. Georgia had purchased it for something else. After thinking about it more, she decided it didn’t fit the intended purpose.

However, the brown fabric did look like cobblestones. Maybe it could be part of a quilt top? Would the cobblestones be a path, and where would the path lead?

Georgia decided that she had enough green fabric to make a quilt top. Maybe the cobblestone fabric could be a path through the green. The path could lead between two houses. Since a path directly between two houses would not account for much of the quilt top, our quilt designer decided that the path should meander through the whole quilt top.

Using computer enhancement Georgia shows the quilt as it will look after quilting.
