Tag der Offene Tuere zum Weihnachten, or Day of the Open Doors for Christmas

We decided that we have been in Yuma long enough to have an open house for friends and neighbors. We would have one for Christmastime. We scheduled it for what was last weekend. Georgia "had" to create a festive invitation.

Georgia had purchased all of the necessary items, and now it was the day of the open house. Fortunately, she had measured all of the dry ingredients on Friday, so all she needed to do was to measure the "wet" ingredients and mix them together. We see her ready to mix some pumpkin bread. Why do we see her phone on the counter top? For the timer function, of course!

We jump forward in time to just before the open house was to start. On this counter we see (from the left) bread pudding, apple crisp, and brownies, each with their festive lables that match the invitation.

Next we see finger foods, including cheeses and vegetables.

On this counter top we see pumpkin bread and tomato bread.

Finally, we have drinks available, including milk and eggnog in the fridge.

Please come in and enjoy yourselves!
