Sidewalk Supervising part 2

Now that we have moved into the house, and it is running well, we have time to do some follow up to the events at the end of September.

The first photo shows the gravel we selected for our landscaping. The colors would be a little stronger after washing the transportation dirt off. However, dust blows around Yuma, and rain doesn't happen very often, so this is pretty close to what you would see in our yard.

We mentioned that the landscaping crew was willing to mark the watering system's black pipe with colored electrical tape. The second photo shows the maifold at the front of the house. The valves and the pipe is color coded the same.

The third photo shows the manifold for the back yard as the pipe goes into the trench. From this you can understand a little easier why the color coding was important. If there were three unmarked black pipes in the trench, it would be difficult to distinguish (at a later date) which pipe went to which valve. When we put in the garden, it will be very important to have the right plants on the right valve.

This ends our update for the moment. Stay tuned for more information at a later time.
