MaryBeth Monson, a Marine who has been stationed in Yuma for a while, moved in with us a couple of weeks ago. It turns out that she has been awarded the USO's Military Leadership Award (AKA Female Marine of the Year). She'll be receiving the award this week in New York City. You can read the write-up at DIVIDS (the new/media hub for the US Armed Forces) or the Yuma Sun (our local paper).
