We have found that having a lot of snowbirds in the winter does tend to increase the events held in town. One must also plan around their habits if one does not wish to be in a crowd of people. Therefore, we attended the show on the second day of the show.
Not surprisingly, there were vendors at the show as well. We found one booth staffed by people from Beaumont, California (between Palm Springs and San Bernardino). You might ask why we found the booth interesting? Well, the store's name is "Georgia's Quilting Obsession" (link to store) Our quilter tried to get a discount because of her name, but no go.
Some booths had knicknacks related to sewing and quilting. One had quite a different flavor - fabrics and baskets from Africa. (link to African group) Randy just had to have a blue (no other color would do) batik piece showing African animals.
We had not realized ahead of time that photos would be permitted. When we found that out we whipped out our phones and snapped a few photos. With apologies for the image quality, Georgia shares hers with you.
