Randy's Marbles

Randy finished a new type of project – a wooden vase, and was contemplating what it could be used for. It is more decorative than functional. He remembered the battery powered light set that he had purchased previously and eyed the clear marbles that Georgia had in another vase. With permission, he temporarily borrowed the marbles for use in his new vase.

All went well as the vase held all of marbles and the lights. The clear lights really looked nice. Randy got the bright idea of using the colored lights instead of the clear ones. He needed to empty the vase of the marbles and thought that he could just pour them into the vase where he had borrowed them.

Did I mention that he was at the kitchen island that has the sink in it? The marbles started going every which way: pouring into the sink, down into the disposal, all over the counter top, and down to the floor where they scattered across the room. Some were not found for a few days.

He screamed for help and Georgia came running to help round up all of the marbles. She deftly fished the ones in the disposal out with her nursing forceps. The broom made quick work of those scattered on the floor. They were all (almost all anyway) were soon gathered up and placed back into the vase.

It can be truly said that Randy had lost his marbles. Also as usual Georgia helped find them.
