All Trussed Up

Last week the bottom framing was completed. This week the trusses were added as the final form of our house begins to take shape. On the interior they had also roughed in the kitchen island, bathtub, water heater stand, master toilet room sliding door, kitchen vent, etc. They have not yet completed the exterior roofing, but only the front porch remains.

We received notice this week that we can stay in the company apartment until the end of September. This is positively the last day. Hopefully the house will be completed by then. Otherwise we will be looking at a short term stay somewhere else.

The picture of the field with the palm tree, silo, and the roof of our partially completed house was taken from a field just north of the house. They will soon be harvesting this field into cattle feed.
